WebFrom 1948 up until his retirement in 1988 he was a member of staff of the Liverpool School of Architecture. Alongside his academic career he ran a successful architectural practice and in 1960 along with Dewi-Prys Thomas he designed a house - 'Cedarwood' in Woolton, Liverpool - which was named 'House of the Year' by the Women's Journal.
