Unwrap the pastry and brush half of it with beaten egg. Slice 6 thin strips widthways, then slice each strip in half, so you have 12 strips. WebbMix together garlic powder and melted butter in a small bowl and set aside. Place smokies on a paper towel-lined plate. Cut each crescent triangle into 4 smaller triangles with a pizza cutter. Microwave butter in a small bowl to melt. Add sugar and spices and mix. Spread sugar mixture evenly over crescents. Sprinkle with cheese.
